Cheeky Chalk Paint

This post it a throw back to my first up-cycle project! I started with a cheap bookcase in case it went horribly wrong! With it being a success I moved onto a dressing table and chest of drawers.

The dressing table and chest of drawers were originally from Next but had been ruined by my sisters make up, straighteners, paint, pen .. All sorts! There were missing handles and to be honest if needed to be binned. But I took the challenge with both hands and transformed them! I didn't get a before picture, really wish I had!

I used Rust-Oleum chalk paint and wax, cheaper than Annie Sloan and just as good. I bought the handles off eBay for about £1.99 each.

All you need to do is clean the furniture down with a damp cloth, paint and wax! No need to any sanding or prepping. Winner.
I can't wait to do some more furniture. I'll do a step by step photo next time, if I don't get carried away again!
