Do me a favour

With the wedding day getting closer and closer the final touches are being sorted! We are so lucky that some of our friends are helping us with some of the aspects of our special day. We've been blessed by our parents with the financial side and our friends are helping us with cakes, music and the smooth running of the day!

Don't be afraid to ask for a favour ... And if people offer, SAY YES!

We have our wedding cake being made by my gorgeous friend as a wedding gift. We also have all of our music being set up by our tech savvy pal which is a god send.

With so much to organise and sort out on the day I've had to learn to step back and say yes when people offer to help.

So have a think! Do you know a make up artist? Hairdresser? baker? DJ? Crafty person? Photographer? Vintage car owner?

If you don't, do your friends or family? Ask around.

And ladies - You all need 'something borrowed' for the big day - use this to your advantage. I'm borrowing a stunning veil off a family friend. Not only is it perfect for my dress but its saved me £275. Winner.

People WANT to help. They love to feel involved. So whether it be organising all your music like we're doing or if it's just sticking gems to your wedding invitations ... Don't be a hero, you can't do it all!
