Well would you look at that, we've been married for a year- A YEAR. How on earth did that happen? And what a year its been. One honeymoon, two cats and a mental breakdown later and we've made it, just about. People told me that the first year of marriage is the hardest and by golly weren't they right. Its been a roller-coaster and a half and I've got through it hand in hand with the best husband in the world.
As you know (or may not) I've really struggled this year with my mental health, its not what the hubby signed up for but its what he got! He has been an absolute superstar and has held my hand, stroked my hair and has given me tough love when I needed it. We've laughed, we've cried (a lot) and we have got through the whirlwind stronger than we've ever been before.
We've started to make a move on decorating the house which I am super excited about and I can't wait to share more photos and tutorials on our home style and interior ideas.
And we have two new additions to the Studholme family! No I've not had twins (although my waist line may look like it - sorry slimming world) We have two furry additions to the household in the form of two rescue cats - Mable and Olive.

They like to eat our food, poop on the carpet and hide my bobbles in their bed. They shed hair everywhere, chase each other around the house and eat my plants. They hide at bedtime, bite our toes and follow us round all morning. They are WONDERFUL. They are RIDICULOUS. They complete us. Thank you Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary.
So there we are - we made it Mr Studholme!
Now we're off to celebrate our anniversary in the place it all began - Ambleside, where we got engaged many moons ago. Its time for a weekend of reflecting, celebrating and revelling in wedded bliss.
I love you Jack Studholme.
One year down, forever to go.
